From the moment I first stepped onto the dance floor, I knew that dancing would become a lifelong passion. Born and raised in Joburg, I began my dance journey at the age of 3, immersing myself in many different styles including tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary and later on found my passion in other styles as well.
The rhythm, the movement, and the emotions that dance allowed me to express resonated deeply, and I quickly realized this was more than a hobby—it was my calling.
Throughout my dance career, I’ve had the privilege of training under renowned instructors and choreographers, where I honed my technique and expanded my dance vocabulary. I’ve performed in numerous shows, competitions, and workshops, and each experience has taught me something new—whether it’s pushing my physical limits or tapping into the deeper, artistic layers of movement.
Over the years, I’ve broadened my dance styles to include ballroom and even aerial arts that I had the privilege of working on the foundations for in the USA. I’ve had the honor of working with talented collaborators, both on stage and behind the scenes where they helped me refine my technique and performance quality. I’ve also had the opportunity to teach dance, sharing my knowledge and passion with students of all ages, and it’s been one of the most rewarding aspects of my journey.
Looking forward, the idea of combining my love for dance with the opportunity to travel and perform for diverse audiences around the world is truly inspiring. I am eager to join a professional dance company aboard a cruise ship, where I can continue to grow as an artist while showcasing my talent in dynamic and unique productions. Whether it’s performing in large-scale Broadway-style musicals, high-energy dance shows, or intimate performances, I want to bring my passion and energy to every stage.
Ultimately, my goal is to continue evolving both as a performer and a teacher, leaving a lasting impact on the dance community. I believe that dance has the power to transcend boundaries, tell stories, and connect us all in ways words cannot. I am excited for the next chapter of my dance journey, wherever it may lead.
